Women in Wind and the topic of gender equality were significant features of this year’s Global Offshore Wind summit in London.
Diversity is not a compromise but rather ensuring that you hire the best people. Surround yourself with people that complement you, rather than look like you, that challenge you to break barriers in thought and innovation, rather than think like you.
Our industry needs to create the pathways that enable us to attract and develop the most qualified people to drive the innovation needed to deliver the energy transition.
Gender diversity is a critical component to any organisation to enable increased innovation and new perspectives.

The BETD brought together more than 2,000 experts and 60% women speakers.
